“It's like 'Bring Your Hero to CrossFit' Day,” says Chris, an athlete from CrossFit Avalanche. “I keep thinking I'm watching a video, but I'm actually there.”

box in Lake Tahoe, Calif. CrossFit Avalache recently hosted the Rogue Vs. Again Faster
Throwdown.

Lucky athetes had the chance to meet some of their CrossFit heroes.

"It's very inspiring to actually see them in person, watch them do their thing. They make it look
easy—it's not fair because it's really not easy," Chris says.

Miranda Oldroyd, Chris Spealler, and Kristan Clever even shared their expertise by teaching a class together.

"I think this is our personal version of the Games, so it's pretty neat," says Kyle of CrossFit
Avalanche.
