Rogue Vs AF Tahoe Throwdown
Tahoe Event 20: Tug of War
A Full Team Event
Score After 19 Events:
Rogue: 33
Again Faster: 25
Event 20 was a full team event worth 8 points. Again Faster's only hope now was to win Event 20 and tie the challenge. This would force a tie breaker and keep their chances alive. If Rogue won the event, they would win the throwdown by an impressive 41 to 25 margin.
Matt Chan had left Team Rogue earlier to do his job as a firefighter. To even the teams up, Again Faster had forfeited Dave Lipson, the biggest and strongest competitor at the throwdown. They made that choice before Event 20 was announced.
Event 20
Best out of 7 tug of war
The first team to amass four wins, would win the event. There was a 2 minute rest period after the first round, during which the teams switched sides. Rest time was shortened by 15 seconds as rounds progressed.
At this point, Again Faster regretted the loss of Lipson. Teamwork more than any one individual, would determine the outcome of the event.
