An Interview with Michelle Kinney at the Rogue vs. Again Faster Throwdown

The Multi-Sport Athlete Speaks on Training and Competition

Michelle Kinney placed 10th at the 2010 CrossFit Games. Before she competed in CrossFit, she played women's tackle football for two years. Due to her team's short numbers, Kinney played both quarterback and safety. She also has D-1 experience in track and field, cross country, and softball.

Kinney competed for Again Faster at the Rogue vs. Again Faster Tahoe Throwdown. While in Tahoe, the Again Faster production crew interviewed her about her experience with CrossFit training and competition. Given her long experience with team sports, Kinney felt at home with the teamwork aspect of the throwdown.

Kinney has not yet created a detailed training plan for the 2011 CrossFit Games. However, she made a list on the flight home from the 2010 Games of the movements she wants to get better at for 2011.
