An Interview with Graham Holmberg at the Rogue vs. Again Faster Throwdown
The Games Champ Stays Humble
Graham Holmberg dreamed of being a professional athlete as a kid. Now as the 2010 CrossFit Games champion, and a Rogue Fitness sponsored athlete, he has moved a step closer towards that dream.
The champ hasn't let success get to his head. He still prefers listening to other peoples' opinions rather than voicing his own. Some people focus on CrossFit competition, but Graham values the work ethic that all CrossFitters bring to their training.
His Games victory doesn't mean that he's superhuman. Graham was fortunate to have a good couple of months of training before games and came into the competition healthy. Some days he still "sucks at working out," while in others he never seems to get tired. It depends on the same factors that all CrossFitters deal with: the sleep he got the night before, the food he ate, and what comes out of the hopper.
