Head to Head: Everett and Lipson
The New School and the Old School Face off at Isabelle
The live stream production of the CrossFit/USAW Open is going to be epic. The best lifters in the country will compete side by side with some of the World's best CrossFitters. However, the action on the platforms is not the only reason to watch. The venue will also set the stage for the first head to head battle in a named CrossFit WOD - Isabelle. The WOD consists of one movement, a 135lb. snatch, for 30 reps.
CrossFit Games Competitors Josh Everett and Dave Lipson have both delivered amazing performances in the WOD (71 seconds and 56 seconds, respectively). At the close of the lifting competition on Friday night, these athletes will throw down on the live show. It's going to be fast, explosive and a lot of fun.
Both Dave and Josh are approaching the contest with a sense of humor. However, there is no doubt that when the lights are on and the clock starts the competition will be furious. Serious CrossFitters will not want to miss this event.
You can witness the previous best efforts of the two athletes in these videos, as well as a recent interview with Dave regarding the competition.
