Video: Missing Affiliate Heats
Saturday Morning Affiliate Competition
The affiliate competition was one of the highlights of the CrossFit Games weekend. Unfortunately, video standards for live television are very different from what we normally work with and Level 3 was not able to create an archive of the stream on their own. It took 2 days for us to get the archive working in real time. Some parts of Saturday are missing, including the Affiliate Chipper event. We are providing that footage here.
The Live Stream Archive cuts off at the end of the 2nd heat and picks back up at the end of the 5th heat. Here we have all of the action in one long clip, or you can watch by heat. For a full heat list, you can visit the 2010 Games Scoring Site.
The Affiliate Chipper was an exciting event to watch. Teams jockeyed for position on the track and moved, member by member, through a laundry list of brutal movements. All of the work was completed on the searing hot track under the Carson sun. The event involved the following:
Two rounds for time of:
Run 300 meters
15 jumps over 28” box
15 dumbbell squat cleans (45/25 lb.)
30 double-unders
15 push-ups (hand must release from floor)
15 GHD sit-ups
30 yard lunge
