How To Spend The Money
Athletes speculate the best way to utilize the prize money
$25,000 is a lot of money. "What would you do with it?" It's a valid query for those who would potentially win the pot at the 2010 CrossFit Games. That's exactly what Sevan Matossian asked a group of well-known firebreathers and 2010 Games competitors in the run up to the competition season.
The athletes traveled to Bradenton, Fla., to take part in an athletic evaluation at the IMG Performance Institute. The test, or Combine360, includes a battery of evaluations, including vision, mental and physical assessments.

It is not just about spending... You must think about the tax implications that come about from winning prize money. I am a financial professional and work with many crossfitters and affiliate owners on reducing their tax bill and setting up there retirement. I like Rob's answer best of putting it away, but Rob where will you put it? The best way to supercharge your retirement is my using unexpected earnings (winnings or bonuses.)
