Will the coach need to purchase a ticket or will they be given one? Thanks.

Do the men and women of the affiliate teams also get two free spectator tickets for family and friends?

Doors open at 7am on Thursday for registration - how late in the day will the registrations be open until?

Cheers,

The event sounds great. Will the individual masters athletes recieve two free spectator passes or just the "individual athlete" as referred to above? Just need some clarification. Thanks

Will spectators be confined to their designated seats, or can they walk around and try t get closer for a better view?

Thanks!

Got to love how a $75 ticket turns into a $94.

Can someone at HQ please clarify - an Individual male or female athlete will be able to nominate 1 ticket for a coach and 2 tickets for family and friends? in total 3 tickets?

thank you.

11. Courtney wrote...

So affiliate team members do not get to bring a guest, other than 1 coach for all 6 people?

12. Tommy Hackenbruck wrote...

What time does registration close on Thursday and does each member of the affiliate team need to be present or can a few members register the team?

Also, what kind of handicapped seating/accomodations will be available? I have a sister who is in a wheelchair.

Thanks and looking forward to the weekend.

Will the equipment be sold after the games?

The way I read it...Any athlete competing whether you are a Master, Individual or on a Team gets 2 tickets. Then each Individual athlete, Master Athlete and Team get to identify one coach. That coach gets free admission plus access to certain areas. So if you are on a team, each member on the team gets 2 tickets and that team has one coach. The other athletes, (Master or Individual) get 2 free tickets, plus they get to have a coach who gets in free too.

15. Ricky Frausto wrote...

I just emailed Tony Budding and he told me that the team can access spectator areas but will not get any free spectator passes for others. They may only name one coach.

The individual athletes may name two people as spectators at no charge and a master's athlete may name one person as a spectator for free. They may also, each, name a single coach for free. Individual (3 passes) Master's (2 passes).

16. Terry wrote...

Thanks Ricky. I can see they already changed the wording above to match what you said. It read differently when it was first posted. Damn... now I have to buy more tickets.

17. Adam Stevenson wrote...

So Individual's get 3 people, Masters get 2, and Affiliate members get 0?? Doesn't sound right...

First, let me say how impressed I have been with how the the events leading to the games are being handled this year. kudos to everyone involved. However, I am a little surprised by the lack of consistency with the Masters Division. First, we had Canada spreading the WODs out over 3 days. No matter how you slice that...those older bones had more recovery time that anyone else. Now, we are limiting the number of guest tickets to 1 for the Masters? Come on HQ, being over 50 doesn't mean all your friends are probably dead. Why would you not allow the same number of tickets to each and every competitor across the board? Sounds a little...discriminatory....doesn't it?

Ouch!!....$94 for one ticket?....I guess I'm gonna have to wait for the HD videos when they come out. Some how I got a deja vu felling of exclusivity (Gym Jones anybody?).

20. Cody Looney wrote...

Leo,
It's a 3 day event. $94 is a great price. And feel free to invite Gym Jones too, no one's seen them in a while:)

21. Billy wrote...

$94 to watch true athletes and master's level athletes do pull-ups is a great price! I'd pay at least $100 to see these modern warriors do their thang

22. Gimpy wrote...

How late will registration be open on Thursday, and can a team designate just one person/coach pick up the packet information for the entire team? Flying from the east coast makes it difficult to get to LA too early in the day. I think our flight arrives in LAX around 6:30.
Thanks in advance for your response.

23. Scott wrote...

Can someone from HQ please respond specifically to the affiliate teams and let us know if we get atleast 1 free pass for a guest. It seems one-sided that those in the individual competition get 2 passes and affiliate competitors get zero passes.

24. ER wrote...

I second Scott's comment. It is not fair that affiliate competitors don't get a guest. We are traveling just as far and need support just as much.

Please note: the post has been updated.

"Each individual athlete, masters athlete, and team will get to name one coach and get two spectator passes, free of charge. This coach will have general admission privileges plus some access to private athlete areas (details coming in a few weeks)."

Does anyone know if there will be a live video feed?

Crossfit is becoming my favorite spectator sport!

27. Ro wrote...

Jeff - we will be streaming the Games live. Keep checking back to the Games site for details.

28. MR wrote...

Ro, sorry of this sounds repetitive, but I just wnated to clarify the new language regarding the free spectator passes... I read it as each affiliate team will get 2 spectator passes total and 1 coach pass total? Is that correct? Not 2 spectator passes per athlete right?

29. Ro wrote...

MR - that is correct. 2 per team, not per team member. The two are in addition to the coach.

30. Cheryl wrote...

Are kids under a certain age free?

31. Ian McHugh wrote...

I too would like to know if children under a certain age will be free.
Thanks!

32. Mike wrote...

Of course this is clarified after people have already started buying tickets. What can be done if everyone on a affiliate team already bought their guest a ticket? Can we get a refund for two of them?

33. Marlon wrote...

I know this venue well. There are NO BAD SEATS in this location. Everyone will get a great view no matter where you sit as a General Admission ticket holder.

34. Glenn wrote...

Has anyone living outside the U.S.A had any luck purchasing tickets? Im in Australia & when asked to enter billing address it defaults to U.S.A.
