What is your athletic background?
I was never a good traditional athlete in high school, I did track & field and soccer, but I was no where near varsity level at any point. My focus was mostly on martial arts though; originally I did Tae Kwon Do (Black belt) then transitioned into MMA, Jui-Jitsu and Wrestling. The combat sports are where I feel natural and I'm able to excel. But, once I made my way to college, I lost the free time to be able to focus on these sports, so I focus my attention towards fitness, which included mostly weight lifting and rock-climbing.
What is your history with CrossFit?
I had heard about CrossFit for a little while but it really wasn't until about a year ago that I dove in, since then I have been mildly (Ok completely) obsessed.
