What is your athletic background?
My teens were taken up mainly with the study of various martial arts but a shoulder injury from bench pressing left me fairly inactive between the ages of 20-25. An MSc in exercise science got me interested in making sure others didn't make the same training mistakes I had.
What is your history with CrossFit?
I discovered CrossFit in Dec 07. After a frustrating few years in the commercial gym environment, it was exactly what I had been looking for and has helped me make a genuine difference in peoples lives, including my own and just as importantly, to have a lot of fun doing it.
