North European Sectional
North European Sectional Workouts Announced
Athletes from across Scandinavia will converge on CrossFit Stockholm.
Athletes from across Europe will converge on two Sectionals in North and South Europe this weekend in their bid for the Regionals, and possibly the Games.
The North Europe Sectional will test the capacities of athletes from Denmark, Finland and Sweden, all converging on CrossFit Stockholm. The CrossFit community is growing rapidly in Sweden and the energy rivals that of the biggest geographical regions in the United States. Below are the challenges the athletes will face and a comprehensive layout of movement standards.
Event 1 (Saturday)
As many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
30 Double-unders
15 Kettlebell Thrusters (16/12kg)
5 Handstand Push-ups (3 for women)
Event 2 (Saturday)
35 Sumo deadlift highpulls (40/20kg)
50 Box jumps (20 inches)
35 Push press (40/20kg)
50 Squats
35 Toes-to-Bar
50 Kettlebell swings (24 kg/16kg)
30 meters Walking lunge (24kg/16kg)
50 Burpees
Event 3 (Sunday)
1 Rep max Deadlift
Event 4 (Sunday)
15-12-9 reps for time of:
Squat Clean (60/40kg)
Pull-up (chest-to-bar for men/chin-over-bar for women)

Noticed a big difference in quality and intensity of programming. North is incredible test and will allow the cream to rise to the top. South tests mediocrity. UK is innovative but lacks depth.

Hollis for president. What a humble attitude, what a proffessional coach. Also had the chance to meet Miko Salo this morning after a morning Wod. He smiled and almost looked like "no threat", wow talk about humble. Look forward in seeing all the fine competitors compete tomorrow morning.
