Midwest Sectionals Saturday Workouts
The Midwest Sectionals provided all the excitement we've come to expect from the CrossFit Games. Both Events were brutal and the some serious competitors have emerged from the ranks.
Pete Rasmusen set the bar high for the men, finishing first in the Air Force WOD with a time of 3:53. Katarzyna Slowinski lead the women after the first WOD, clocking a time of 5:58.
The second event was AMRAP clean and jerk for five minutes. Again, Pete Rasmusen came on strong and finished the day in first place sitting him pretty for Sunday's competition. Kelly Allen won the second event for the ladies.

That Air Force WOD video is AWESOME! Props to whoever put that together and even more props to all the athletes who competed this weekend. Competition at its highest level is a beautiful thing to see.
Also, if anyone knows the name of the group rapping throughout the video, please let me know. Great track.
