Midwestern athlete - Paul Cegon's Story
For one athlete competing this weekend the journey to competition has been evasive. Paul Cegon left the military and his health declined severely. He stopped exercising and ate poorly. When he started training again he was a 42 inch waist, weighing 265lbs. His first Fran was 10:30 and Filthy 50 was a DNF. 10 rounds of Cindy was enough to put him on the floor.
He found CrossFit and has turned his life around completely. Now he has a 31 inch waist and he is 203lbs. His numbers have shot through the roof, and continue to improve. Through hard work and focused training at CrossFit TNT Paul has changed his life and will compete at the Midwest Sectionals this weekend.

This pic was from July 4, 2007. I started messing around with CrossFit on my own in November of 2007, learning from the exercise demo page and YouTube. But really never trained at a CF facility until August of 2009.
